Privacy notice
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Syzygia Ltd (“Syzygia”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information is handled when you visit this website or email us.
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Syzygia Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17378872. Our registered office is 14 Abbots Close, Fleet, Hampshire, GU51 3RF. Syzygia Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. For privacy enquiries, email hello@syzygia.co.uk.
Information we collect
This website has no forms, accounts or mailing list. The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to send us by email to hello@syzygia.co.uk: usually your name, email address and the contents of your message.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and the time of a request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The website’s fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser also requests them from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Please do not include confidential, legally privileged or particularly sensitive information in an email to us.
How and why we use information
We use what you send us to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of the correspondence. We use technical information only to deliver the website and keep it secure.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and in running and protecting the website. We may also process information where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
A person reads every message. AI tools may help us draft a reply; a person decides what is sent.
Sharing information
We share information only with service providers that run our website hosting and email, and with professional advisers, courts, regulators or public authorities where the law requires it. We require service providers to handle information appropriately and only for authorised purposes. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and relevant safeguards.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements. We will normally keep an email and our reply for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict or object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.
To exercise a right or ask a question, email hello@syzygia.co.uk. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, advertising or other optional cookies, and it does not track you. Essential technologies may be used where necessary to deliver and secure the site. If we ever introduce analytics or similar technologies, we will update this notice first and ask for any consent the law requires.
