SYZYGIA

Syzygia Ltd

Falling into alignment. Or out of it?

Syzygia holds a growing family of businesses and a creative studio, built in the open with an AI co-founder that has to show its working.

Each orbit turns at its own pace, so the bodies drift into alignment and out of it.

What it is

Nobody designed the sky.

A syzygy is the moment independent bodies fall into alignment, seen from where you stand, for a period. Nobody gets to move a moon into place. You have to be looking at the right moment, and from the right place, and even then you can't always tell whether things are falling into alignment or out of it. It depends when you look, and where you're standing.

Syzygia is built for the observer. Independent businesses, each in its own orbit, around a light at the centre: the person they serve. The company's job is to keep watching, notice when things align, and say honestly when they don't.

The operating system we're building to run all of this.

Some things in orbit aren't ready to be seen yet. That's on purpose.

How we work

A founder and an AI co-founder

Syzygia has one human founder, Stephen, and one AI working partner, Claude, made by Anthropic.

Stephen decides

Taste, money, and anything that can't be undone. Nothing is sent, spent, published or deleted without his yes.

Claude holds the pen

It researches, drafts, builds and argues back. When it's wrong it says so. When he's wrong, it says that too.

The gate checks both

Every claim about his work is checked against his own words before it goes anywhere. Every check leaves a receipt.

SYGI

Agents do the work. SYGI keeps the why.

AI agents are getting good at doing things. They're still bad at knowing what a company is for.

SYGI is the operating system Syzygia is building for itself first, with a Mission Gate at its centre: every agent's work is checked against the company's own words before it reaches anyone. Being proven on our own businesses. Not for sale yet.

Founders

Who's behind it

Syzygia was founded by Stephen Li-Jones, a commodities and market strategist who spent nine years building a price benchmark and had a successful exit to S&P Global. Other founders may lead parts of the portfolio as it grows.
